Thai Day

>> Saturday, February 26, 2011

A couple of weeks ago Orin's school had "Thai Day." Every two years they devote a day to Thai culture and on the opposite year they have "International Day" where they showcase the cultures of the international students that attend CMIS from over 30 different countries. Each grade did a dance or skit somehow related to Thai culture. There was TONs of yummy Thai food for lunch and fun games.

This is a picture of the Kindergarten class doing their dance. So cute! Unfortunately, I could barely see Orin behind the taller kid in front of him (he's is so small for his age).

I caught a little glimpse of him every once in a while.

Sora didn't love it. It was about 5 hours long. She wasn't like this the whole time...just the last hour. :-)

A way to mom! I love that he still loves it when we show up. I know it won't always be that way.

Here is a little video of the dance.

So sweet! It warms my heart to see you doing this school stuff with your kids now. That picture with the little wave is precious!! He's so happy you are there.

(FIVE HOURS! No wonder Sora ended up unhappy. Sounds like your gymnastic meets, which I did bring babies to also. LOL)
