Going on a bear hunt

Micaiah’s preschool teacher is great. Really, I couldn’t like her more and couldn't even come close to doing at home what she does at school. It’s a full time program but because it costs more than we can afford to pay, they have been incredibly flexible and allow him to go on 50% schedule and so we just pay half price. It’s perfect. Recently she set up a little "field trip" for them at the school. They had been singing “We’re going on a bear hunt” at school so it was based on that. Micaiah loves school and I love that he loves it!
They started out in the gym along with the kindergartners singing a bunch of fun songs. Micaiah loves that kind of stuff.
Then we split into two groups and had our picnic. Just some crackers and cheese and a cookie or two. It was nice to get to know the other moms a bit better. I think it was a little "out of comfort zone" for the Thai parents. This is not the kind of stuff normally done at a Thai school. It was fun to see how the parents reacted to the activities.
The principle even stopped by to chat for a bit.
Then the kids played some fun games. It was interesting because there were a couple of kids who just cried the entire time. I think the parents being there totally threw them off.
Finally time to hunt for the bear.
Where is he?
Man, this bear is hard to find!
And back to the gym for the elementary school principle to read a story. A fun morning!
