You've Got A Friend

The other day Orin and Micaiah were sitting on the couch waiting for me to put on a video for them to watch. Orin looks over to Micaiah and says, "I like you baby Caiah, you are my friend." Micaiah looks over to to him and says, "I like you too Orin." Oh, just makes my heart melt. For the most part, they love playing together. The last two weeks especially. I love to just sit and listen to their chatter as they play. Especially when they are trying really hard to cooperate. Micaiah is pretty good at sharing (definitely the better of the two). Although initially he may not give Orin what he wants, often times 30 seconds later with a smile and in a sweet voice I hear, "Here Orin." Don't get me wrong, they fight sometimes. But as Micaiah gets older and they seem to be able to work things out better. Many of their fights come from misunderstandings. Oh, and if one of them is tired there is definitely more of a likelihood teasing or fighting. But I so love to see them truly loving to be around each other and I pray that they will grow to be best friends and stay that way! Especially since, as MKs, they will probably be moving around a lot - not only that, but everyone around them, including friends they make will be coming and going. It's comforting to know that they will always have each other.
