Kids Books on Fear & Monsters

Ever since Orin's monster issues began, we've been trying to find books and videos on fear of monsters or just fear in general. Here are a couple of the fun things we've come across. I have a few other books that I've found or that people have suggested that we're looking forward to trying. If you have any suggestions please leave a comment!




The best so far because it is perfect for our situation (you'll understand if you read the specifics about our monster).








My sister-in-law suggested this one. Orin loves Hermie. The best part about it was that when we got it we realized we have rented it in the past which made it even better for Orin because he remembered the story and connected with it faster.







The kids LOVE Mo Willems. I don't know what it is about his books, but we seem to pick one up every time we go to the library. This is a fun monster book.

The first time Orin watched this DVD it actually scared him. But now that he's seen it a few times he loves it. I think it's helped him to understand the difference between things that are real and imaginary. It also has the story of Daniel and the Lion's Den which he really loves.
