I love watching all three of them having so much fun together. Well, until Sora leaned forward too much and smacked her nose against the corner of the desk. Yikes. But she's such a trooper and only briefly cried.

December 15, 2009 - National Visa Center (NVC) forwards our paperwork to the US embassy in Seoul (aka NVC out) December 2, 2009 - I-600 approval!!!! November 4, 2009 - told that Korea will not give out any more visas this year so it will likely be February until we can go get her. October 13, 2009 - Legals! I-600 filed with USCIS September 21, 2009 - acceptance paperwork sent to Korea September 14, 2009 - Officially accepted referral for Bada Kang September 10, 2009 - Referral!!!! July 13, 2009 - Our dossier was sent to Korea. Officially waiting for a referral! July 2, 2009 - Received I-171H! (Immigration approval) June 24, 2009 - Mailed final Korea home study and change-of-country paperwork to USCIS June 23, 2009 - Mailed completed dossier paperwork to adoption agency; LSS mailed finalized home study to us and adoption agency. June 16, 2009 - Physicals (again!) June 12, 2009 - Received draft of Korea Home Study June 1, 2009 - 1st and only visit from LSS social worker May 21, 2009 - USCIS Immigration fingerprinting appointment for our I-600a May 8, 2009 - sent application to Lutheran Social Services (LSS) to have our home study updated for Korea May 7, 2009 - Applied to a 4th agency to adopt from Korea Special Needs (CHSFS taking WAY too long). April 30, 2009 - Mailed home study to USCIS (Immigration) March 3, 2009 - Received notarized, finalized Home Study! March 1, 2009 - Applied to a 3rd adoption agency (CHSFS) to adopt from Russia Febryary 27, 2009 - Kyrgyzstan program on hold indefinitely; we have to find another country February 21, 2009 - Received draft of Home Study for Kyrgyzstan February 10, 2009 - 2nd and Final Home Study meeting with our social worker - Yea! January 29, 2009 - Mailed our I-600A January 7, 2009 - 1st Home Study visit December 28, 2008 - Mailed in Home Study application. December 2, 2008 - Notified that a new social worker for our home study had been assigned to our case. Ugh! November 12, 2008 - Applied to International Child Foundation's Kyrgyzstan program; decided to continue with AWAA for our home study November 11, 2008 - Told we don't qualify for Kazakhstan November 6, 2008 - Official withdrew from AWAA China program; asked to be considered for Kazakhstan October 20, 2008 - received Home Study application and requirements October 14, 2008 - began working on China dossier September 26, 2008 - accepted to AWAA September 12, 2008 - submitted application to AWAA for China Waiting Program February 2008 - Met with America World Adoption (AWAA); decided to wait until we moved to Dallas to begin process.
