Lunch During CLI

I mentioned in an earlier post that we all eat lunch in the child care/common room...which is just an apartment in the building we're living in. I wanted to take a few pictures to remember.

This is most of our group eating lunch. It's a little tight for space but it's worked out well. I'm sort of sad to think we'll only be eating together a few more times.

After lunch the kids enjoy playing together. We usually just stay up there with them until the couple who is watching them return. They usually take a break during lunch and eat in their own apartment. I don't blame them! :-) Sometimes we go back down to our apartment (we're on the 4th floor and the child care is on the 7th) but the kids seem to have a hard time transitioning back to "school" if we leave after lunch so it works out better if we let them just hang out there. Today when we walked in for lunch Orin ran up to me and said, "You know what mom? I'm in love with Lyia!" Oh, my!

This is the view from the window. It faces the same direction as our apartment but it's 3 floors higher so it's a nicer view.
