A Glipmse of D-Town: The Views

Our apartment building has 11 floors. We live on the 4th. Although it would be neat to live higher to have a better view, I do like the fact that we can open our window and totally hear the sounds of the city right outside. We have a view of the street vendors right across the street. We can also sort of see the huge mountain but it's blocked by a tree unfortunately. The tree also provides us with our wonderful roaches. ;-)

D-Town from the street.

Our apartment building has 11 floors. We live on the 4th. Orin LOVES to walk from the 1st to the 11th. Not sure why. But he's always asking to do this. It mostly just proves to me what bad shape I'm in! :-)

But one thing that helps to convince me to go up with him is the view from the roof. It's beautiful...and a little freaky if you look down. You can see so far!

There is a pool on the 3rd floor. It was great for the kids during CLI because they went almost every day. They let it get pretty dirty before they clean it, so you have to plan accordingly. :-)
