Saint Patrick's Day 2013

We usually don't really celebrate a lot of the minor holidays so I wanted to try to make St. Patrick's Day a little fun. For breakfast we made green pancakes and shaped them like 4-leaf clovers. 

For lunch after church I made green eggs. They looked nasty. But the kids' didn't mind. :)

And for dinner Damien wanted to find some Irish food. We had heard that the UN Irish Pub was good, but we had never been. They were having a special buffet for St. Patrick's Day so we decided to go. Wow, was it amazing! The food was great, there was live music and the price was great. We've since been back just for the normal food and it's one of our new favorite restaurants.

They had the most amazing dessert ever! It was like a banana's foster cream pie. Yum!

It was super hot so we decided to eat outside (they don't have A/C inside). The garden looked really pretty.

He's just too cute while he's telling us stories.
