Orin Is Three!
>> Tuesday, April 8, 2008
On April 3rd, our little Orin turned three years old. I felt pretty bad for the kid since we spent the day driving in the car. On the other hand, we spent the night in the hotel (which he LOVES to do), we got to see Pops when we got to
Aunt Emily found a great website that had some “how-to’s” and pictures of train cakes. He and I went to the store too pick out everything he wanted on the cake. He was so excited and wanted to help make it. He did a good job so I’m hoping that maybe in a few years he’ll be cooking dinner a few nights a week! We sang happy birthday on Friday night when Uncle Aaron and Aunt Erin were in town. He tried to blow the candle out a few times but gave up and then wanted nothing to do with it.
We celebrated again on Saturday with Mimie, and the New Orleans Daspit clan. On Friday I took him to Toys-R-Us to pick out a present. He picked out a train towel and a Thomas-The-Train book. We have been so blessed to have this constantly happy boy in our lives for the past three years and are looking forward to many more.
Above & Below: Orin loved helping bake and decorate the cake.
