Our first little league game

Orin's first little league soccer game will be one to remember. First of all, it rained. HARD. The entire time. We all had poncho's but we were all soaked! The boys, of course, loved it. Splashing in puddles for an hour was more fun than actually playing soccer.

They got creamed. Well, I guess in the end it wasn't that bad...maybe 7 to 3. Who scored the three goals? The one girl on our team. :-)

Orin tends to just stay behind the "pack" and not really go for the ball. It's pretty funny because the ball might be close to him, but he'll actually run out of the way in order to just get behind everyone. I think he's just not into it enough to take the trouble to be aggressive. It's almost like he's pretending to play but not really doing it.


Who knew what great entertainment umbrellas are...

It was great to have Mimie there for the first game. I think we all were a little hoarse from all of the cheering we did.
