MOPS Dish

If you've ever heard of "Let's Dish" you know that it's really neat. You go to their store and in a few hours (at a somewhat hefty price-tag) you prepare 12 meals that you can freeze and eat when you wish. It's a great idea. I've never done it though because it's more expensive than preparing my own at home. A few leaders in our MOPS group decided to minister to the ladies by offering a Let's Dish-like night where we could come and make six meals for just the price of the food. It was really neat. They had six tables set up and we all just went through and assembled our dinners in Zip-lock bags and stuck them in our ice chests. I know it was a TON of work but it really did minister to a lot of women (including me) and it was a blast socializing while cooking. The recipes they choose seem really yummy and I'm really looking forward to six nights of not having to cook! If any of you are involved in MOPS (or a similar group) you should definitely think about doing something like this.
