Daddy's Special Day

Damien's birthday was earlier this month. I can't believe that I've know him for almost as many of his birthdays and number of birthdays he had before we met. The three of us are so blessed to have such a wonderful man in our lives.

This is the card Orin made for Damien. I LOVE his handwriting at this stage. He wrote out "Happy Birthday." I told him to write his name at the top. I didn't realize he'd do it so big. :-) I also love how when he runs out of room he'll just put other letters in random places (notice that the 'n' is in front of the "ori."

Damien picked Chinese for his birthday dinner (surprise, surprise). Chinese is always a hit with the kids. Micaiah LOVES the tea. We now get him is own because he ends up just drinking ours the entire time. :-) Luckily green tea has very little caffeine.

Orin LOVES it too. Pretty amazing since he is so picky.

The kids enjoyed putting the candles the cake. It's Damien's favorite - Banana Split Cake. He's had it almost every birthday since he was a kid.

Orin is a little freaked out by fire at the moment. He didn't want to get too close while Damien lit the candles (notice how far back he's standing).
