Halloween in Chiang Mai

The day I got back from Malaysia CMIS the school had a Harvest Festival. No one celebrates Halloween in Thailand, and even though the school is an International school it uses an American curriculum. And since many of the teachers and administration are from the US they brought some of the fun customs from home. The kids all dressed up after school and there were fun games. There was a costume contest and every kid got to walk down the “runway” to show off their costume. Orin and Micaiah were so excited about it and planned a week in advance what they wanted to wear - their two size too small star wars Star Wars outfits that they wore two years ago.The kids had a blast playing the games and Orin made me promise one day that he’d actually get to go trick-or-treating back in America. Hopefully I can keep that promise!
