Halloween Getups

Here are a couple of pictures of my cutie-pies on Halloween. We got to dress up twice that day. We went to the Children's museum and to trunk-or-treat at Berean. Orin, whose favorite color is pink, really wanted to be a princess. Every time we'd walk into a store with princess dresses, he'd walk strait to the princess dresses. He finally settled on a grey and pink mouse (it was between that and a pink pig). I tried to get a costume for him on freecycle but I haven't had any luck with the one I've joined here. We got it for $5 at Old Navy so I didn't think that was too bad. Micaiah was a dinosaur - the costume Orin wore last year.


Orin loved wearing the costume. He really wanted to stay in character as much as possible, especially when he first put it on. You can see here that he was trying to play with the train with the mouse gloves on. It was really cute but he soon gave up and went with his own hands.





Micaiah, on the other hand, refused to keep his hat on. The few times I got a couple of pictures of him wearing it was if I snuck it onto his head when he was focusing on something else.
