This week's fun

We had a good week. Micaiah was a little crankier than usual. We think he is teething - must be getting his two year molars. He spent most of the week with his hands in his mouth. Here are some of the highlights:
After their baths, Orin and Micaiah love to run around bare-bummed with their towels on their heads as superheros (actually 'Super Readers'). As Damien was going to get Micaiah's diaper since we knew 5 minutes without one was dangerous, he peed on the floor. Every time I vacuum, this is what Micaiah does - I guess the popper can also be a carpet cleaner.
Orin first dressed me up like this and said I was a "beautiful princess." He then wanted to dress up too. I told him he was a very handsome prince, but he insisted that he was a princess.
The weather was beautiful. We spent almost every afternoon outside for at least an hour or more. Often we'd stay out for even longer waiting for daddy to walk home from work. We blew a lot of bubbles.
We sent a care package to Uncle Joel in Iraq. The kids made paintings to include in it.
Orin and Caiah love playing with the two children next door. The afternoon I took this picture they just kept riding around this circle over and over. It's sad that they will be leaving in December to return to Papua New Guinea. Orin and Micaiah will miss the kids and I'll miss talking with their mom while we watch the kids play.
I just love this face!
To be honest, until we moved here, we hadn't spent a lot of time outside - yes we went to the park and stuff, but we didn't spent a lot of time outside in front or back of our house. I think we're making up for it now. We have two riding toys that they absolutely love. They will pick up a lot of speed and lift up their feet off of the ground and just coast. It's really cute.

So fun! We've been spending lots more time outside these days too. It's wonderful.
