More Pictures from May (what?)

>> Sunday, December 30, 2012

I found some old pictures from last May that I didn't want to forget about. They're actually terrible pictures (which were taken using my phone,) but still, it's nice to have the memory.

Our last Chiang Mai FC game before we left for the US. Someone gave Sora some yummy (at least to her) Thai snack. It is these strips of dried fish. I think they are pretty gross, but Caiah and Sora just love them.

More lasts. We were only going to be gone for 3 months, but I knew when we came back mango season would be over so Sora and I made sure to get lots of Mango Sticky Rice!

When my friend came to visit she brought Graham Crackers so we could actually make Smores. We don't have a fire place so we just did it over the stove.

Micaiah had a little Kindergarten "meet & greet" with his new teachers. He had lots of fun and was really excited about starting KG!

Two of his friends in preschool that were moving up to Kindergarten with him.

Throughout the year, Orin's teacher had the kids write stories. They would do a first and second draft, and then the teacher would have them write it out very nicely. She then made them into nice, bound books. There ended up being about 8 total. One of the last days of school she invited the parents to come and we got to go around to different kids and hear one of their stories. The kids were so proud of their work and loves showing it off do different adults.

We were so blessed to have Mrs. Angela to give Sora speech therapy two days per week this entire school year. During the last half of the year she was even able to come to our house one of the days so we didn't have to drive the 30 minutes to Grace. She was so good with Sora and Sora improved so much. She was going back to the US in the summer so we knew we wouldn't see her again.

We had an Easter part with the people in our Small Group. It was a fun afternoon.
