It wouldn't be a Reilly family vacation without a little sweat

My adventurous family couldn't go to a cabin by the Smokey's and not spend much of the time hiking. So on Christmas Eve we all decided to go on a nice little hike to a waterfall.

Despite this first picture, the kids had fun. :-) Micaiah wanted to be carried the entire time, which was fine and typical, and Orin wanted to run the entire way - typical as well. Luckily I have four fun brothers who kept up with him.

My mom took this picture during a snowball fight my siblings where having and one of them decided to use Micaiah as a human shield. I guess he didn't like the idea. :-)


Orin was having a blast. He can dish it but he can also take it.

I love this sweet little face. Isn't it amazing how every kid looks absolutely adorable with a hat on? Of course, he looks adorable without one too

These are the kind of signs that scare me. Especially with a kid like Orin who loves to do things like run full speed ahead while looking behind him having no idea where he is going.


Uncle Joel looks pretty suspicious with that snowball.


And that's all of us. At least all of us in December 2009. Soon we will be +2 and I'm sure there will be many many more in the years to come!

Aunt Erin is a trooper. She's 22 weeks pregnant and carried Orin up hill for quite a ways.
