Some Pre-Christmas Activities

Just a few of the fun things we did during December...

Made a Rice Crispy Treat Wreath. It was so easy, thank goodness. :)

Caiah was sick. Just a fever. Never really figured out what it was and it was gone in a day or two. He still enjoyed eating the wreath!

This was our little advent corner. We had a countdown chain. We also had this Veggie Tales advent calendar that had an activity for each day.

At the top of the picture you can see we also had candy tree advent calendars. Caiah made one at a friend's house so I made one with Sora and Orin. Each day they got to eat a piece of candy off of the tree.

One day we were supposed to make and decorate gingerbread cookies. I had no idea where I was going to find the time to do it. I was so excited to see someone selling homemade "Ginger Bread Kits" that came with everything you need! The cookies, icing, sprinkles. It was awesome and so worth the $6 I spent on it!
