Thanks aren't always as they seem

We got a kick out of this. Today, after we crossed the border back into Thailand (I'll write more about our trip later) we picked up some strawberries at the market (i.e. people sitting on the road near the boarder selling things). We can't really get strawberries here in Chiang Mai...if you find them they are very small and pricey. But it's cooler up north and they grow much better. This big box was a great price so I bought it expecting to share it with a friend.
We got home and the kids were so excited to eat them. But as soon as I started taking them out of the box we saw this:
Half of the box was just paper! It is beautifully packed and made to look as if it were full of strawberries. We should have known...or at least been suspicious. :-) But they do taste great!

hey girl
i just wanted to let you know that name of the hearing aids that we got for sawyer. they are called phonak. i can't say any more about them accept that i like them but i really have nothing to compare them to either. so far he is doing well with them. there is the occasional time that he asks for them to be out but we either try and distract him or sometimes give him a break, although i'm sure the audiologist and speech therapists frown on that some it's that or have him hating them or ripping them out on his own. but he is doing really well with them and we are happy. i'm not sure what else to tell you about them but if you have any questions about them i can try and answer. eager to hear how it all goes for you guys with sora. have a merry Christmas. :)
Wow, they sure were PRETTY strawberries, even if they jipped you on the quantity. They tasted good???
