Praying for us as we head to Korea

Here is an email we sent out tonight to the individuals who receive our newsletter...

We wanted to write and let you know that we will be leaving for Korea tomorrow morning. We have finally been cleared to bring home Sora! We are beyond excited and feel so blessed to be adding a little girl to our family. We are writing to ask you to please pray for us as we take this journey. We will be in Korea for a week and will be returning home on February 25th. Here are a few specific ways you can be praying for us.

1. Sora is 10 months old and has been living with a foster family for 7 months. She will be leaving everything she has ever known. Please pray for her as she adjusts to living with a family she has never met. It is often very difficult for children as they grieve their former life.

2. We are so thankful for a wonderful grant we received which is allowing us to take Orin and Micaiah. We are so excited that they are going to be able to share this experience with us. However, we know that the flight, time change, and other variables could make it very difficult for them. Please pray that they enjoy the trip and are well behaved.

3. Pray for energy for all of us and that we will be able to relax and just enjoy the next week. We want to focus on the Lord and seek him in all of the details of the trip and not let stress overwhelm us.

4. Please pray for our adjustment to being a family of 5. We want to give the boys the attention they need while still being able to focus on helping Sora feel comfortable as a part of our family.
