We Won!!!

In case you haven't heard, the Saints won the Super Bowl last night! The 8 hour drive down here was definitely worth it. It was so much fun to be screaming, jumping, dancing (for some even crying) with our families. My poor sister-in-law's 8 month old is probably scarred for life having been startled so many times. I can't wait to get the photos and video my mom took. I was able to watch the first half and some of the third quarter but after that I just couldn't. I get too nervous. My heart was beating out of my chest. I stayed close by and came in for the important plays. At the end I just had to "get over it" and watch. It was so worth it. A great game!

After the game, it was even more crazy. We went outside. Everyone was screaming, shooting off fireworks, car alarms going off. And this was all over the ENTIRE city. Our families said that as they were driving home everyone was honking their horns, screaming, stopping on the interstate exits and just going crazy. An amazing night.

Orin fell asleep on the couch. He likes to put his water on this little table. Last night there were two extra things. They came from our Saints Cookie Cake. He had been carrying them around all night and said he wanted to sleep with them.
